The hotel had charming traditional features and a lovely terrace, but the shower experience was not the best. The service provided by the professional and polite staff at the reception desk was exceptional, although there seemed to be a lack of attention from other staff members. The location, with good connections to the Cotswolds, was very convenient. The dining experience, although lacking some options, was pleasant overall. The facilities were well-maintained and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has a fantastic location, close to Cotswolds attractions and with beautiful surroundings. The rooms were cozy with larger windows offering great views. The service was outstanding, especially with a staff member going out of his way to return my forgotten iPad. The dining experience, although limited, offered delicious marmalade. The facilities were satisfactory, enhancing my overall experience.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with good connections to the rest of the Cotswolds. The rooms offer a lovely view and have very large comfy beds, although there are no washing facilities and the bathroom is located off the lounge. The service was average, with several staff members available but lacking in attentive service. The location is convenient, near Tortworth lake, yet the dining experience was below expectations, with limited options and quality. Overall, the facilities are decent, but improvements could be made.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with good connections to the Cotswolds, offering stunning views. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathroom could use a refurbishment. The service was decent with some helpful staff, although sometimes slow. The dining experience had limited options but with a view to die for. The location is convenient but lacks relaxation areas. The leisure center is nearby, providing some additional convenience.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms only have a few high windows, but they are spacious and newly painted. However, there was a strong odor due to recent paintwork.
Service
6.0
The staff were only okay, not many serving well apart from a few helpful individuals. The management tried to accommodate more guests than the setting comfortably allowed, though they did go out of their way to return a forgotten iPad.
Location

The hotel is in a beautiful area with good access to the Cotswolds. However, the layout is confusing with maze-like corridors, and there are limited areas to relax nearby.
Dining

I absolutely loved the direct access to the gardens through the patio doors and that very large comfy bed. The nice view was a bonus, but the poor decorative condition was a bit of a letdown.

Service

The service provided was okay, but it felt like there were too many staff members on shift and no one was really giving attentive service. However, there was one particular staff member who stood out by providing more information and a much friendlier manner.
Location

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area with good connections to the rest of the Cotswolds, although navigating through a maze of corridors could be a bit overwhelming. The newer area down a series of long corridors was less convenient, especially for corporate events. The 'courtyard' restaurant location was pleasant, and the setting down by the lake was charming.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was lackluster with only omelettes available in warming trays, cold and overcooked offerings from a machine, and stale Danish pastries. However, the view from the dining area was breathtaking.
Facilities

The facilities met basic needs but could be improved, especially in terms of dining options and decor.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were fantastic, everything worked fine, very spacious, modern decoration. Talking about the room facilities, they had a big bathroom and direct access to the grounds which was super convenient. The room is really comfortable, the bed was big, and had wet floors, but they fixed it quickly. The service was excellent, the staff helped me a lot, they were very professional and always polite. They even went out of their way to return my iPad that I forgot in the room. The location was perfect, in a beautiful area with good connections to explore the Cotswolds, just what I needed. Dinner in the gardens was amazing; the only downside was the limited staff. The dining experience was average, with a limited menu, but the scones were a nice touch. Overall, a good value for the money. The facilities were top-notch, everything was clean and elegant.

I stayed at the hotel and found it to be a cozy spot with some room for improvement. The rooms were clean but had uncomfortable couches and tables that were too close. The breakfast quality was low, served in the old library. However, the location was beautiful with good connections to the Cotswolds though the layout felt like a maze. The dining was decent with a view to enjoy but lacked variety.
